* effective date May 1, 2008
In Virginia, the Building Codes are revised approximately every three years. Adoption of new building codes is done by the General Assembly. Therefore it is difficult to accurately predict the next code change however, it is anticipated that the next code change will become effective sometime in the summer of 2008. At that time we are anticipating adoption of the 2006 International Codes
