BusPublic Transportation

The Winchester public transit system operates throughout the city six days a week.

Bus Schedule

Monday though Friday - 6:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m.
Saturday - 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

Trolley Schedule

Monday, Wednesday, and Friday - 8:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.
Saturday - 10:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.

Note: All routes begin and end from the bus stop on Boscawen Street between the Cameron Street Parking Garage and the Joint Judicial Center.

Fares

Adults – $1.00
Half-Fare - $0.50
  (Senior Citizens, Individuals with Disabilities or Medicare card holders)

*Children under 2 ride for free
*Passengers must have exact fare.  Drivers are unable to make change.
**Transfers will only be honored for the route in which it is issued.  There will be no charge for transfers from one route to another during the same trip.

Handicap Accessibility

All city buses are also equipped with wheelchair lifts for individuals with disabilities.
A para-transit service is also offered for individuals with a temporary or permanent disability that does not allow them to take advantage of the fixed-route transit service.
